At Avenues Health Center we want you to have all the information you need to make the best decision about your health care. Below are just a few of the most frequently asked questions we hear in our Cheyenne office.

How long will treatment take?

The length of your treatment depends on the nature of the problem, your ability to do some exercises at home, and the time you have available for adjustments. Your chiropractic care is individualized, so the timeline for your treatment is, too.

Because we focus on rehabilitation and functional movement, only those patients with long-lasting, chronic conditions can expect to continue regular treatment indefinitely.

Are X-rays needed?

X-rays are not required for every patient or condition, but they are helpful for some. Dr. Tonso and Dr. Krenzelok decide on a case-by-case basis and will explain this decision to you during your evaluation.

What do chiropractic adjustments do?

Adjustments break up scar tissue, reduce muscle spasms and increase your range of motion with the end goal being to relieve pain and improve functional movement.

What’s the “pop”?

When a joint is manipulated there is a change of pressure within the joint. The change in pressure may cause gas bubbles to be released and the bubbles cause the popping sound.
